Ingredients:
For the rice:
- 2 cups of steamed white rice (short grain or sushi rice)
Vegetable toppings:
- 1 zucchini, julienned
- 1 large carrot, julienned
- 1 bunch of spinach
- 100g bean sprouts
- 4-5 shiitake mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cucumber, thinly sliced
Meat (Optional):
- 200g ground beef (or chicken/tofu for a vegetarian option)
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 tablespoon sugar
Additional toppings:
- 4 eggs (1 per serving)
- Sesame seeds, toasted
- Kimchi (optional, as a side)
- Gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- Sesame oil (for drizzling)
Instructions:
- Prepare the Rice: Cook your rice in a rice cooker or pot and keep it warm.
- Prepare the Meat: In a bowl, mix ground beef with soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, and sugar. Cook in a skillet over medium heat until fully browned. Set aside.
